Winemaking
The grapes were hand-picked the best parts of the Quinta do Gradil and destemned on arrival at the cellar. This wine was vinified in small stainless steel vats at a temperature of 26ºC with previous maceration pelicular cold. After malolactic fermentation, the resulting wine aged in bottle for three months prior to its commercialization in the market.
Tasting notes
Intense ruby color, forest berry aromas with touch of balsamic and tobacco leaf. Boca structured with strong tannins but well integrated, good balance with the end of long and persistent evidence.
Gastronomic suggestions
Excellent accompaniment to red meat dishes, roasts and barbecues or with strong cheeses.
