The Great Sendr\u00e9e adopted the name of a parcel of land covered in ash (cendr\u00e9e) after the fire that devastated Urville in 1838. A spelling error in the name of the land register, made today the appointment be written Sendr\u00e9e with “s” instead of “c”.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
