Louren\u00e7o do Bairro, DOC Bairrada, Portugal<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Grapes: 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Touriga Nacional, 20% Merlot<\/p>\n<p>Technical Data:<br \/>\n<em>pH &#8211; 3.63<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Total Acidity &#8211; 5.53 g\/lt (expressed tartaric acid)<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Residual Sugar &#8211; 1.4 g\/lt<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Alcohol &#8211; 14.4%<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Terroir:<br \/>\nAtlantic-influenced climate, protected by the Caramulo and Bu\u00e7aco mountains.<br \/>\nVineyards planted at high density (up to 6,172 vines per hectare) on gentle hills of clay-limestone soils, in the region&#8217;s famous limestone patch. Vineyards are entirely dry-fed.<\/p>\n<p>Aging:<br \/>\nThe wine is aged for 24 to 30 months in 225-liter French oak barrels (new and used). The final blend ages another 8 years in the bottle before being released.<\/p>\n<p>Tasting Notes:<br \/>\nOpaque center with a very narrow ruby-colored rim. Aromas of preserved black fruit, hints of mint and green pepper, combined with wood spices, providing several layers of depth. Full-bodied, with fresh acidity and smooth tannins.
