Wine Crasto Superior Syrah Red 2019 75cl

97% Syrah; 3% Viognier

Alcohol: 14.5%

Vinification:
The grapes, from our Quinta da Cabreira in Douro Superior, were transported in plastic food boxes and subjected to a rigorous sorting at the entrance to the winery.

After total destemming and slight crushing, the must was transferred to temperature-controlled stainless steel fermentation vats.

Aging:
Aged in French oak barrels, where it remained for about 16 months.

Tasting Notes:
With a deep ruby color, it presents intense aromas of forest flowers in harmony with soft notes of spice. In the mouth it starts with excellent volume, proving to be a wine with a serious structure, composed of tannins with a fine and persistent texture. An engaging wine that very well reflects the typicality of the Syrah variety and ends with excellent freshness and persistence.
