Founded in 1985, Carlos Alonso Douro Wine Company is a family-owned and independent company, located in Alijó in the center of the oldest demarcated wine region in the world.

The vinification processes allow the grapes to show their natural qualities as well as through a rigorous selection of wine lots.

With the vineyards located in the heart of the Douro, in the municipality of Alijó, on the right bank of the Douro River, with different sun exposures and altitudes, to better reflect the full potential and versatility of the terroir.  Granite-schist transition soils at an average altitude of 500m.
