Tasting notes:

Opaque deep purple in colour.

A floral nose with the sweetness of intense ripe berry fruit and a touch of fig and mint/eucalyptus.

In the mouth it’s full-bodied but supple with flavours of dark fruits and a hint of pepper.

It doesn’t get any better than our Vintage Port. If all the conditions are perfect and the port gods are smiling down on us, we declare a vintage year.

Because of the unique microclimate of our vineyards, we sometimes declare vintage years when our neighbours don’t.

It’s been known to raise the odd eyebrow but it’s just how we do things.
