Port Wine Romariz White Extra Dry 75cl
The Romariz house was founded in 1850 by Manoel Rocha Romariz. The Romariz brand has always been known for the high quality of its wines. Its main markets were, at first, the domestic market, Brazil, Portuguese colonies and England. In 1966 Romariz the family withdrew from the business and sold the brand to the firm Guimaraens & Cª. At the end of the 1980s was the Romariz bought by a British group that has developed this prestigious brand and conquered new markets.
This fortified wine is very much in fashion today. Consumption of this superb appetizer has increased considerably in Europe in recent years. Our Dry White is a modern and youthful style. It should be served chilled, without monitoring or, at best, with lemon peel. If you prefer a cocktail, mix with tonic water in equal parts.
Suggestions
The Romariz White Extra Dry is traditionally served cool, as an aperitif. Also you can drink in a highball glass with ice, tonic water and a mint leaf. Accompanied by salted almonds or olives, is the perfect appetizer.
Tasting notes:
Light straw color. Delicate nose combining fresh fruit fragrances with honeyed aromas and characteristic oak touches of a traditional white. Taste fresh and lively, with good flavor and dry and crisp finish.
