Champagne Drappier Grande Sendrée 2006 75cl
The Great Sendrée adopted the name of a parcel of land covered in ash (cendrée) after the fire that devastated Urville in 1838. A spelling error in the name of the land register, made today the appointment be written Sendrée with “s” instead of “c”.
Tasting notes: Subtle aromas of dried fruit, unfolding into fruity notes of citrus, fruit of white pulp, fruit pitted. The palate emphasizes the vinosidade, the depth and structure.
Suggestions: Ideal as an aperitif. Excellent with lobster broth with grapefruit, carpaccio de Saint Jacques or Bresse poultry with truffles.
Varietals: Pinot Noir 55%, Chardonnay 45%
