Climate: Mediterranean with cold winters with rainfall concentrated between October and February (the average annual rainfall is around 700 mm), hot summers, with temperatures close to 40 ° C at the time of maturity.
Winemaking: The grapes of different varieties were harvested according to their ripeness to 20 kg boxes and immediately vinified. Without de-stemming, the wine fermented in vats with treading feet. After fermentation the wine was discharged into containers for casks of large Portuguese oak, and mahogany macacauba ensued malolactic fermentation. The wine aged for 24 months in these casks, after which it proceeded to bottling. The bottle stage lasted 24 months after the wine has been placed on the market
TASTING NOTES
Deep garnet color. Eucalyptus flavors, mint, black fruit compote and spice. On the palate, shows freshness, complexity, persistence and a huge and elegant structure. Everything you would expect from a great Mouchão.
