Tasting Notes:
Intense garnet color, aromas of black fruits, plum jam, mint, spices, and floral notes typical of Touriga Nacional, violets and white flowers. Very balanced and rich, it reveals surprising freshness, lush tannins, and good structure.

Decant or open 12 to 24 hours before serving.
Drink at a temperature of 17°C, pairing with grilled or game dishes.

Winemaking:
At Herdade do Mouchão, all red wines are vinified in open stone lagares, with stems.
The whole bunches, hand-harvested, are transported in 20 kg boxes to the winery, where they are foot-trodden in lagares and left to ferment for approximately 5 to 8 days. This young wine will undergo malolactic fermentation in the fall in large wooden barrels (5,000 L). In mid-winter, it is filtered, after which it remains undisturbed for approximately 18 months. After bottling, it ages in cellars for another 18 months before release.
