Dow’s is owned and managed by the fourth generation of the Symington family, Port producers since the 19th Century. The family, whose experience dates back over 100 years, supervises all the vineyards, winemaking and ageing of this wine. Dow’s owns two of the Douro?s finest Quintas, Senhora da Ribeira and Bomfim. They were acquired in 1890 and 1896, making Dow?s one of the first houses to invest in premium vineyards.

Dow’s old Tawnies are well known for their remarkable raisiny, dried fruit flavours, exquisite creamy texture and an exceptionally long, lingering finish. Dow’s Twenty Years Old Tawny is the perfectly balanced tawny. The delicate flavours acquired through long ageing combine perfectly with the rich and subtle mature fruit. Ready for immediate drinking. No further ageing of decanting required.

Food pairing suggestions and serving
Dow’s Twenty Years Old Tawny pairs extremely well with nuts, dried fruits and fruitcake, but is also delicious as an accompaniment to vanilla ice cream or crème brûlée. Serve slightly chilled to appreciate the full complexity and sensuous pleasure of this wine.
