Climate: hot summers, dry and long. Short and mild winter with rainfall concentrated between October and February and occasionally strong in April.
Privileged microclimate due to the proximity of the Atlantic enjoying mild and constant climate and the protection given by the Monchique mountains against the northernmost winds.
Winemaking: Cold maceration and fermentation at controlled temperature in stainless steel. Malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels.
Maturation: 12 months in French oak barrels.
Color: Ruby bond with violet borders.
Aroma: generous aromas of black and red fruits, plum and cassis, very seductive; notorious your vanilla.
Taste: A wine “mouthful”. Very well rounded with its ripe tannins, fine acidity and persistent alcohol content.
Final: Elegant and persistent, delicate and full of complexity in its long finish.
Gastronomy: Ideal with red meats, game, cod and noble fish or a fine selection of cheeses. Consume at 18ºC.
Save: In horizontal, dark, well-ventilated to about 16ºC.
