Wine Quinta da Caldeirinha Aragonês DOP Red Bio 2008 75cl
Region: DOP Castelo Rodrigo – Beira interior, Portugal
Grapes: Aragonês
Bio – Organic wine
Terroir: Mediterranean continental climate region, with schist and sandstone soils.
Vines planted in the Douro International Natural Park, on the steep slopes where the Agueda river meets the Douro river, at an average altitude of 600 m.
Vinified with organically grown grapes and prolonged skin contact which gives structure and longevity.
Aged 9 months in French oak.
Naturally stabilized wine, which may create deposits with time.
Tasting: Wine with ruby color, sweet fruit aroma, blueberries, raspberry and ripe strawberries. Well structured. It goes well with meat dishes, game and cheese. Should be served at a temperature of 16-18ºC.
Alcohol: 14.5%
Awards: Silver Medal at the 4th Wine Contest of Beira Interior in 2011
