Regional Wine, Alentejo, Portugal
Resulting wine from a selection of Alicante Bouschet grapes from the flagship of the Vineyard Carapetos, considered the best expression of “terroir” one of Mouchão Estate.
After fermentation in vats and proven its outstanding quality, the wine is transferred to barrels 3 and 4 of Portuguese oak, Macacaúba and mahogany, which is aged for 24 months. After re-evaluated and re-confirmed its quality, the wine is bottled and rests for 24 to 36 months in air-conditioned environment. Their very limited production occurs only in years of exceptional quality, which confers iconic status.
