This Tinto Cão wine becomes enchanting with its open ruby color and complex aroma of red cherries, spicy notes and a touch of floral sophistication.
The palate is marked by tamed tannins and strong acidity, indicating its potential for aging, while complex layers of red fruits and subtle herbs provide a delicious flavor, leading to a polished and long finish.
Winemaking:
This wine is fermented in spherical cement vats using gentle pumping over and temperature control. Malolactic fermentation is completed in French oak barrels.
Aging:
Aged entirely in 225 liter French oak barrels for 12 months, 60% in new barrels and 40% in second use.
