Winemaking:
The word ‘Harvest’ means ‘harvest’, for Port this word is used to describe a wine of a single year that has been aged in wood for a minimum of 7 years.
Many of the crops available today have been aged for much longer.
The panelist evidence regularly every old tawny Ports as they mature in the cellar.
These wines are “plagued” two or three times a year and then returned to the original barrel.
When the tasters judge that the wine has reached the perfect state of maturity, Porto is carefully removed from the barrel and bottled.
Due to the long and careful process of aging without penalty or filtration occurs.

Tasting notes:
This exceptional dated Tawny comes from grapes grown in the Douro Superior. Aged in oak barrels, in Vila Nova de Gaia. The quality of this wine is remarkable. It has a fruity aroma and a great complexity.
Storing and serving tips:
Serve between 16 and 18º C. Store the bottle upright in a cool, dry and dark place.
The food pairing:
The Port Harvest is the “reflection of wine” par excellence. At the end of a good meal or night, or just good company, it allows rare moments of pleasure of owning a high quality wine. It should be served at cellar temperature, following a good cigar (for connoisseurs). Dried fruits are also a perfect accompaniment.
