History

Viticulture
The vineyards are inserted in the estate of Quinta do Gradil. The soil is clayey nature, with some clay and sandy spots, with good drainage and slopes with excellent sun exposure. The harvest usually begin in the first half of September.
Varieties
Arinto, noble Portuguese white grape, and Sauvignon Blanc, one of the most prestigious global castes, were the basis of this white international profile of Quinta do Gradil.
Oenology
The grapes were harvested in the early morning hours to keep the aromatic freshness. After full stalk were held in small stainless steel vats at 16ºC, after maceration cold.
Tasting notes
Aromatic profile which shows the Sauvignon Blanc, with mineral notes and stone fruit. Balanced mouth, which highlights a lively and fresh acidity, well matched with the wine’s structure.
