Wine made with Baga grapes, whose fermentation took place in small open lagares, having been interrupted with the addition of brandy produced at Quinta das Bágeiras. This spirit was double distilled in a charentais still, transmitting its excellence to the stuffy. This stuffy ages for at least 10 years in barrels, with high oxygenation.
A sweet wine well above average.
The concept:
Quinta das Bágeiras is the brand of all Mario Sérgio Alves Nuno products and reflects the quality and identity of everything that is produced.
With a minimalist oenology, the wines are produced in the most natural way possible and with traditional methods, in order to express the terroir where they were developed. These are wines of great longevity, whether red, white or sparkling.
All the harvests are manual, the reds are made in mills without added yeast and the sparkling wines are made only in Brut Natur.
