Port Wine Romariz LBV 2005 75cl
LBV – Late bottled vintage
The Romariz house was founded in 1850 by Manoel Rocha Romariz. The Romariz brand has always been known for the high quality of its Port wines.
Its main markets were, at first, the domestic market, Brazil, Portuguese colonies and England. In 1966 Romariz the family withdrew from the business and sold the brand to the firm Guimaraens & Cª.
At the end of the 1980s was the Romariz bought by a British group that has developed this prestigious brand and conquered new markets.
The Wine:
This delightful and full-bodied Port is the product a year exceptional in quality, aged four to six years oak barrels, in our cellars Gaia.
It is filtered before bottleneck to prevent the formation of deposits and is ready to drink.
The Romariz Late Bottled Vintage is characterized by its aroma fruity and velvety softness. It is particularly popular with cheese.

Tasting notes:
Bouquet fantastic, with aromas of ripe blackberry in cascade and red plum.
A sense of full and engaging mouth very rich and juicy flavors of berries. Velvety and soft but well structured.
A deliciously fat and wine full, with good depth and a lovely and intense finish.
Suggestions:
The LBV is the perfect ending to any meal.
Not must be decanted and should be served in a cup not very small so you can fully enjoy its rich fruit.
Accompanying and strong cheeses, especially blue. It is also delicious with chocolate desserts or berries.
