Wine Quinta do Pinto Merlot & Syrah Red 1,5 Liters Magnum
Combining the Merlot and Syrah varieties demonstrates the producer’s intention to create a unique wine and make a difference. Two international varieties that, together, create a wine that until then had not been thought of in Portugal. By the art of knowing how to wait, this blend was kept in barrels for 10 months, resulting in a wine with a rich aroma, voluminous and elegant palate.

Very elegant start marked by aromas of black fruits, dark chocolate and spices perfectly married with notes of wood. Great volume in the mouth, balanced by the freshness from the terroir, it ends with a polished tannin, allowing a long and persistent aftertaste.
Night harvest to preserve all the aromatic component, with subsequent destemming and light crushing. fermentation with indigenous yeasts at a controlled temperature of 22º to 25º, with small daily pumping overs for greater extraction of phenolic compounds. After alcoholic fermentation, post-fermentation macerations for 3 weeks were carried out. Syrah and Merlot aged separately in 1st and 2nd use French oak barrels for 12 months. Before bottling, no type of stabilization was carried out, only a slight filtration was carried out.
