Region: Beira Interior, Sub-Region de Castelo Rodrigo, Portugal
Terroir: Mediterranean continental climate region, with schist and sandstone soils.
Vines planted in the Douro International Natural Park, on the steep slopes where the Agueda river meets the Douro river, at an average altitude of 600m.
Vinified with organically grown grapes and prolonged maceration which gives structure and longevity.
Aged 9 months in French oak. Naturally stabilized wine, which may create deposits with time.
Tasting notes:
Ruby color, sweet fruit aroma, blackberries, raspberry and ripe strawberries. Well structured. It goes well with meat dishes, game and cheese.
It should be served at a temperature of 16-18ºC.
Alcohol: 14.5%
