Under the attentive and discerning gaze of vultures and royal eagles along the slopes of the Mirandese plateau, under the torrid sun of a scorching summer and harsh winter, the low-lying vineyard grows with the region’s grape varieties, mother of the fine, soft and aromatic “Olaf” wine.

This wine region borders the Douro region, one of the oldest in wine production, and is divided into three sub-regions: Chaves, Planalto Mirandês and Valpaços.
The Coop Winery. Agrícola RIBADOURO is located in the region of Trás os Montes and Alto Douro, in the municipality of Miranda do Douro, in the village of Sendim.
In the beginning, the Trás-os-Montes wine region was a regulated IPR – Indication of Provenance, in 2006 it became a DOC – Controlled Designation of Origin region.
