Wine Palmeirim d’ Inglaterra Rosé 2021 75cl
Denomination: DOC Trás-os-Montes
Location: Chaves – Parishes of Oura, Selhariz and Faiões.
Soil: Schist origin, with medium clay content and granitic origin with sandy texture.
Climate: Temperate with continental characteristics.
Grapes: Touriga-Nacional.
Vinification and maturation: Manual harvest by variety. Slight crushing of the berries followed by gentle pressing. Static clarification. Fermentation at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks followed by aging on fine lees until the end of February. Batch formation. Light filtration and cold stabilization before bottling.
Oenology: Rui Cunha / Sérgio Alves
Alcohol: 12%
Tasting notes:
Salmon color, fine aromas, reminiscent of currant berry with vegetable nuances.
Palate: Dry, with good body. Finishes long and textured.
Consumption: It should be enjoyed at a temperature between 12-14ºC.
Great as an aperitif. Goes well with white meat dishes with fatty sauces, fish and seafood dishes.
Aging potential: until the end of 2027
